# Card Types on the Program Board

Savah allows you to visually differentiate Epics and Stories on the Program Board using **Card Types**. This feature helps highlight specific items as discussion points during PI Planning, making it easier for teams to spot blockers, goals, or special items at a glance.

### Using Card Types

While creating or editing an Epic or Story on the Program Board, you have the option to assign a **Card Type**. This helps you categorize and visually emphasize the card for better clarity during planning discussions.

Savah provides a set of **default card types**, including:

* **Impediment** – to flag blockers or issues.
* **Enabler** – for technical tasks or supporting work.
* **Goal** – to highlight team or business goals.
